I love a great maker collaboration - especially with a company with such a beautiful vibe as Sewrella Yarn. I was invited to design a pattern for their Winter Lookbook - a collection of wearable, cozy and versatile makes - and contributed with Sleet Socks designed for their Nylon Sock yarn. I knit the sample in their winter tonal colorway Breckenridge - a beautiful, warm, pearly grey. While this particular colorway is only available during winter, any of the seasonal tonal shades will be perfect to knit these socks with!
Sleet Socks are modern, with a classic feel, easy to memorize stitch pattern using only knits and purls, but with plenty of construction details that make knitting these socks a pleasant and engaging experience! The socks are knit toe up, with a fleegle-style heel covered in the main stitch pattern, and finished with a soft, squishy folded stockinette cuff.
