Festive Garland Socks Knitting Pattern
Spruce up your sock drawer when you knit Festive Garland Socks, textured cable knit socks.
Festive Garland Socks were inspired by seasonal festive decorations - garlands! They are decorated with textural stripes and textured cable on the front, and seed stitch on the heel and back of leg. The socks are worked toe up, with a patterned fleegle-type heel (no picking up stitches!) and twisted cuff at the top.

Even though Festive Garland Socks were inspired by the holiday period, you can wear them all year long! Whether you want to remind yourself of a festive occasion or you just need a bit of extra in your outfit, these will be a great choice!
Really pleasant to knit when you want some variation, but without too much complexity. Even though there are cables involved, the pattern is really easy to memorize so you won’t need to look into the chart all the time! Due to the heel construction, where you don’t need to pick up stitches, the making process is smooth.
They are great for intermediate sock knitters or adventurous sock beginners that are willing to learn new techniques. You’ll need to know: how to work in the round, knit, purl, make increases, slip stitches, turn work (from right side to wrong side and back) and work cables. It’s a toe up construction so special cast on technique is needed - it’s simple and photo support is included in the pattern. The pattern is written for magic loop method.
