Tidal Waves Socks Knitting Pattern

Welcome summer to your feet with Tidal Waves Socks, light knit socks with a lace cuff.

This pattern is inspired by blissful moments spent by the sea, dipping your toes in the cool water waves coming on shore, with sun shining and warming up your skin. It's what I feel to be an essence of summer! It's a lovely late summer piece that you can take as a WIP for your summer roadtrips and then be reminded of these moments when you're back home.

This summery relaxed feeling is also mirrored in the knitting process - starting with more engaging techniques at the cuff - folded stockinette cuff & lace pattern resembling waves around the leg (the same lace motif as you may recognize from my Tidal Waves Top!), followed by smooth sailing across the sea of stockinette until the toes :)

I like to think of them as a bridge between hot summer, carefree holidays and cozy moments of upcoming autumn. Lace around the cuff gives a light feel, while the full stockinette around the foot gives comfort and warmth during chilly end of summer and beginning of autumn.
