The pattern is written for 4 sizes with possibility to customize it to fit your head as close as possible!
Sizes: toddler (child, adult S, adult L)
Headband circumference: 44 (47, 51, 55) cm / 17.5 (18.75, 20.5, 22)“, to be worn with approx. 1-5 cm (0.5-2)” of negative ease.
Headband width: 7.5 cm / 3” for toddler and child, 10 cm / 4” for adult S and adult L.
supplies you’ll need
yarn
90 (100, 135, 145) m / 100 (110, 150, 160) yds of Merino Fingering, Olivia & Oliver Fibers - 100% merino wool, 400 m (437 yds) per 100g, or similar fingering weight (category 1 - super fine) yarn held together with 90 (100, 135, 145) m / 100 (110, 150, 160) yds of Midnatssol, CaMaRose - 54% alpaca, 36% tencel, 10% wool, 200 m (218 yds) per 25g, or similar lace weight (category 0 - lace) brushed alpaca or mohair yarn.
needles & NOTIONS
needles: 4 mm (US 6) circular needles 80 - 100 cm (32 - 40”) or DPNs, or to fit gauge
notions: stitch marker, tapestry needle, scissors, tape measure
